I developed the Identity design for the festival, and the logo is a playful pun on the guerrilla/gorilla nature of the festival. I also consult on art direction and interactive design for the festival.
Just Another Photo Festival is a guerrilla festival looking to take art outside of the elite circles of an art gallery. Described as militant, daring, and a triumph of authenticity, JAPF looks to return the medium to it’s fundamentals: images that move people. Taking world class photography to the streets and by-lanes of the world, JAPF looks to create an equitable world for artists and art patrons – across class lines.
